It must be the holiday season.
We’ve been busy. November has just flown by, I can’t believe Thanksgiving is next week.
Recent happenings – none of which are picture worthy and therefore I have no pictures on this blog.
* Celebrated my 28th birthday in quiet fashion with just the family and my mom’s delicious Tonkatsu! Plus the husband took me to dinner at Bennihanna, since they give you a free $30 meal during your birthday month! Awesome – just sign up here
*We bought a vanity. Yes – that means we will be redoing bathroom #2. We were shopping at the new Tai Pan Trading in Costa Mesa ( love that place) and happened upon a nice looking vanity. We looked at the price and thought it was too good to be true. It had the vanity stand, vessel sink and faucet all for $600. The faucets alone are over $100, not to mention vessel sinks are expensive. So we decided to sleep on it before buying it. Then the next day my mom said she had received a 25% off coupon in the mail and we were in. So we paid just $450 for the entire thing! If you’ve ever shopped for vanities, you’ll know that’s a deal. Tile shopping begins tomorrow.
* I went to Florida – it was a quick 3 day trip for a Forum on Relief and Development, but still meant I was busy and away from home.
* I am planning our church Christmas Party. Let me tell you this is no small task. I decided to do the “Night in Bethlehem” activity. It has been a lot of work, but I think it will be worth it. So if I ask for you help, please be nice.
There are so many other little thing that seem to be taking up my days. I don’t remember when the last time was that I actually cooked a full on decent meal, oh wait, yeah I do, it was last Saturday, but I only cooked because we were feeding the missionaries. Had we not signed up to do that, I probably would have filled my time with something else.
I usually love the holiday season, but I am just not in the mood this year. It makes me kind of sad. I think I am just so tired of being so busy and so overwhelmed with so much to do all the time, and I don’t even have kids yet. Yikes. I’m not complaining, but man I am ready to relax.

I've never been to Tai Pan Trading - I need to check that out! Awesome!
First three astrisks are ALL picture worthy. I would love to look at you guys eating benihana and tonkatsu; would love to see your vanity; would love to see your trip to Florida.
Not so sure I would love to see your Christmas Party plans, though. Good luck with that.
See you in a couple weeks!
Amen, sister, about the busy comment. Let me know how I can help with the ward activity.
