Happy Birthday Dad Blaesser

A few blogs back I wrote about my most amazing immediate family. I have also been blessed with amazing in-laws! This includes Michael Blaesser, my Father-in-law, and today is his birthday.
Some observations I’ve made over the past 6 years since Adam and I began our journey, of my Father-in-law are…
*He’s a family man, through and through. He truly is devoted to his family as well as his extended family. He loves and serves each one with great compassion.
*He’s very flexible. He is just so “go with the flow” about everything. I really don’t know that I’ve ever heard him complain, or get up set about much at all. If there’s a problem with something, instead of complaining he takes action to help resolve it.
*He works hard. He’s a good provider for his family, and he also helps out a lot around the house.
*He knows how to Rock Out! Now, I’m not a huge fan of Rock Band or Guitar Hero, but I don’t mind that others are. Well this man, my friends, kills it on the drums and the guitar in the Rock Band arena. *He keeps it simple. It doesn’t require much to make him happy. I’ve never seen a man so satisfied with a good move in Rumikube or a good roll in 20,000. Trips to the family cabin seem to be his ideal vacation, just simple, and stress free.
*He’s a good example. For this I am so grateful. Adam is a lot like his dad and has many of the same traits. I am grateful for the example his Father was to him growing up. I know that Adam will continue to look to his Dad and use his example as we grow together.
So to the best Father-in-Law a girl could ask for I hope you have a wonderful birthday and enjoy every moment. (It’s gotta be better than last year, since you were driving down so Janine and Katie could come to my Bridal Shower)
We love you!
