Oh I am so tired, but have to go have a “night cap” at 8 pm. I want to just go to bed. I’ll survive. Today was actually great. It was awesome to experience the work we do from the starting point. Where everything is hand crafted. The workmanship behind every bend in the metal is undervalued. The way these guys crank out product is amazing. I have been working with Kathy for 5 years and never met her until today. She’s awesome. Just a happy joyful person with the most endearing giggle. Watching Don roam through the factory was fascinating. He loves engineering, it’s in his bones, he loved to watch these people work, and he loved them all for doing what they do so diligently. Don is an amazing man, despite my struggle to communicate with him in any normal fashion, I truly admire him.
I don’t know that I preformed all that well. I am wondering if Don might think it was a waste for me to be here. Don could handle all this on his own. But the greater value for me is experiencing something like this.
