Follow up to my last post.
So I mentioned my curiosity to Don about the fact that I got the job when I did. And you know what his response was, "Well you weren't our first pick."
I just laughed. Don is an engineer and says it like it is. I am just sure glad everything worked out like it did. At this point Don is the only person left that was there when I was originally hired and I can finish his sentences most of the time. There really is no one quite like him and I am privileged to work for him, whether he wanted me or not!

That's too funny. It's always interesting to hear about that decision-making process. Like how my co-worker recently told me, "there was NO ONE else". haha. Or when a friend told me that the owner of the firm where I used to work only hires cute girls for the receptionist position. So funny.
