Amused

So the other night I was in the kitchen wiping up the counters and I look up and see Adam sitting on the couch smiling and looking just so amused and happy.

I went over and saw he was watching Wipeout. Really? Wipeout can make you this happy? How? That show can make me laugh, but for about 5 minutes, then I get bored. Adam loves it, he watches the whole hour of it. And, while that show doesn’t necessarily make me happy, looking up and seeing my husband so amused and happy makes me so happy.

There is a whole list of things that make him happy, that I could care less about, for example – spreadsheets and databases, priceline, softball and rock band, but seeing him happy is just the best feeling in the world. I’m thankful for our differences and that as long as one of us is happy, it ultimately makes the other happy. (Most of the time)
