Yes – we made and ate Turducken for Christmas and it was glorious!
What is turducken, you say? Well it’s a chicken, inside a duck, all inside a turkey. Yes, three birds all cooked together.
This was the recipe we used. I didn’t really do much except help make the stuffing that went inside each bird. Really Adam’s brother Nat de-boned all three birds which is the hardest and most time consuming part, and Adam was his sous chef stuffing it and tying it all together.
They started at about 10:30 pm on Christmas Eve prepping this thing, finished about 1:30 am, to wake up and put it in the oven at 9am. It took about 9 hours to cook and was so delicious. But this post is really more about the pictures than anything else.

Not sure if we'll do it again, but it sure was tasty, the turkey had a nice flavor from the duck fat that dripped into it and the meats were all tender and moist. If you want to try something new and different, I'd recommend it, but only if you have a lot of time and patience.
