Last week we spent 3 glorious days a Huntington Lake up in the Sierra Mountains above Fresno. I was lucky enough to marry into a family that has a cabin there, and while we have spent quality time there with the Blaesser family, this trip was devoted to Adam's closest friends from his college days at Cal Poly SLO.
You wouldn't know it from the pictures I took, I just kept forgetting to take my camera out when everyone was together, but there 8 of us there total and we had a great time. Boating, fishing, swimming, sunning, hiking, eating, playing games and staying up way too late, it doesn't get much better than that.
Here are the pictures I did manage to take...

I am so thankful for long weekend get aways, great friends, the smell of trees and seeing stars. Summer is winding down now, and it is always a bit depressing to me, but I do have one last trip coming up, a visit to meet my newest nephew in Vancouver, WA. Can't wait!
