How I love the magic of scheduling blog posts!
Currently Adam and I are in beautiful Naples, Italy,
one week into our 12 day Mediterranean Cruise.
Together we’ll be seeing the ruins of Pompeii and the Amalfi coast, and surely
eating pizza at some point.
It’s crazy to think that 10 years ago on May 18, 2002, we
were just two unknowing 19 year olds out to enjoy a San Francisco Giants
baseball game. Bam, 10 years later we are happily married living in a condo in
good old Huntington Beach
and are more in love than ever. I’ve
know Adam for more than 1/3 of my life. He’s
seen me at my absolute worst. He has mad
a lot of sacrifices for our relationship and we’re both better people because
he decided to ask me for my phone number that day.
While I enjoy celebrating our wedding anniversary on January
5, and fondly remember the date we were sealed in the temple, December 27, May 18 is my favorite. It’s the day we became friends, the day Adam
stepped way outside his comfort zone to ask if I wanted to join him at another
baseball game sometime. I remember it
like it was yesterday. It was easy, and
not stressful, but life changing.
So, here’s to May 18 and celebrating 10 years of love
together in some pretty incredible places!
