If you don't you can read about her story here.
When I walked away from her I promised her that should be gettting a wheelchair soon! Well I just found out she received a wheelchair in January!
I love my job! What a great day! I love her smile and that she is probably wearing her best clothes as she is given this shiny new wheelchair! She now has a chance to make it to school, and find friends to play with and feel a new sense of dignity that she no longer has to sit on the ground and crawl to get where she wants to go. It was so hard for me to leave her that day with no wheelchair in hand, but I am so grateful that donors and partners have been behind this mission to give the gift of mobility around the world and that today little Mecruyu has a wheelchair and chance at a better life!

Whitney- I am so happy that you're job is so rewarding in so many ways! How wonderful that this young girl finally had her wish come true! I also saw many unfortunate handicapped people on the ground in Brazil without any way of getting around except for their own hands, and it is very sad. And I also was amazed when I saw one of your chairs in Fortaleza, Brazil when I was their a few years ago! Keep working hard to bless these lives! And THANK YOU for your efforts and for those of wonderful donors!
This is so wonderful! Thanks for sharing!
