Adam + Access ='s Love

Adam is one of the hardest working determined people I know. This is one of the things I love most about him. He's been working for Boeing for just over 4 years now and has come a long way. He's already made it to a level 3 position, and has been through a rotation program where he learned three different skill sets and has become very good at his job. He was promoted a few months ago and was asked by his new boss to design a Microsoft Access database to to record data done during audit assessments. He did a great job with the database. It really is a masterpiece in my mind. In fact, I liked it so much I asked him to build me a database I could use at work to do my own assessments. He did so with enthusiasm and determination to make me the perfect database. It was a success.

Yesterday, I got this email from him...

The senior manager of the group I support invited me and Doug to a meeting with some generic title. I didn't really think anything of it so I show up and it's the senior managers staff meeting. At this point I kind of assumed we were rolling out some new process or something and I needed to hear about it but then the senior manager presented me with an award for all the hard work I have done for him over the past year.
The award read "This award is presented to show our/myappreciation for the special effort you put forth on the EVMS Training and Audit preparation. Your positive attitude and determination are an example to all. Thank you for a job well done! The SM&P organization appreciates your constant support and training.

I am so lucky to have such a hard working husband. And I am so proud of him for getting the award.

Since Adam's project was on the computer I thought I'd throw this picture up here...

Adam loves Martinelli's... I might just have to get him a bottle to celebrate this newest achievement.

Boeing, eh? Hey, if he ever gets promoted to the Integrated Defense Systems unit, give me a call! (It's HQ'd in St. Louis.)

Wow! That is great! Do you know if they have any open positions? My husband just graduated from BYU with his masters degree in Information Systems and is looking for a job. The project that you described that Adam did sounds like something that my husband can do. Any leads would be great!! Thanks!
